YISD Parkland MS Library & Science Labs
This addition to a middle school on El Paso’s Northeast side adds more than half again as much square footage to the size of the school. This school district is one of the fastest growing in all of Texas.
The original building of 30,000 square feet was built in 1994 and was already in need of expansion. There are five new labs with prep rooms, totaling 7,200 square feet. The new library of 5,800 square feet has 1500 linear feet of book stacks, an administrative area, a reading area, work and conference rooms, a computer lab and audio/visual storage.
