International Water Quality Laboratory
This 26,000 square-foot facility analyzes water samples for the utility and other agencies. The project intent was to consolidate 4 existing laboratory facilities into a larger, state of the art laboratory. The lab was designed to be a flexible space that can expand to accommodate future growth. The building design incorporates day lighting clearstory features, ventilation systems for indoor air quality, building materials, system control measures and exterior trees for indoor environmental quality, and xeriscape plant species for water conservation.
